Songs that can be analyzed

• DRM-free audio files stored locally in the Music app on your iPhone
• Audio files in a folder linked from the Files app (stored locally on your device)
• Songs synced from your computer into the Music app
• Songs purchased from the iTunes Store and stored on your device
• Common non-DRM formats (e.g., MP3, AAC/M4A, WAV)
• Not supported: Apple Music streaming (subscription tracks), iCloud-only songs, and DRM-protected content.

How to add your music

• Both ways: your playlist appears in the Playlists tab. Tap Analyse Playlist before playback.
• Music app — create a playlist on your iPhone.
• Files app — in Beatrunner Pro, tap Import from Files app and choose a folder.

Link a folder of audio files

1. Save audio files locally on your iPhone (e.g. On My iPhone in the Files app)
2. In Beatrunner Pro: tap Import from Files app and choose a folder
3. Open Beatrunner Pro — the playlist appears in the Playlists tab as Imported
4. Tap Analyse Playlist before playback

• DRM-protected and cloud-only files are not supported.

From your computer

1. Open the Music app on Mac or iTunes on Windows and create a playlist
2. Add your DRM-free files to that playlist (e.g., MP3, AAC/M4A, WAV)
3. Connect your iPhone and sync that playlist to your device
   • Mac: Finder → select your iPhone → Music tab → enable sync, select playlist → Apply
   • Windows: iTunes → select your device → Music → select playlist → Sync
4. Open Beatrunner Pro — the playlist appears in the Playlists tab
5. Tap Analyse Playlist before playback

Already in the Music app

1. Open the Music app on your iPhone and create a playlist
2. Add songs from your Music library — tracks stored on your device (not from the Files app)
3. Open Beatrunner Pro — the playlist appears in the Playlists tab
4. Tap Analyse Playlist before playback

• For audio files in the Files app, use Via Files app above.

iTunes Store purchases

1. Open the Music app on your iPhone
2. Go to Library → Purchased (or find your purchased songs)
3. Download any tracks that aren't on your device yet (only if they show a cloud icon)
4. Create a playlist and add those songs
5. Open Beatrunner Pro — the playlist appears in the Playlists tab
6. Tap Analyse Playlist before playback

Good to know

• For iTunes Store purchases: if a song shows a cloud icon, it isn't on your device yet — download it in the Music app first
• Music app: Beatrunner Pro shows playlists, not albums — create a playlist and add your tracks
• Files app: add more songs to the same folder — Beatrunner Pro updates when you return to the app
